Prestigious African NAFCA premiers its Theme Song as Hollywood's Michael
Adegoke & Nollywood Actress Stella Damasus prepare to Host the Prestigious
African NAFCA Beverly Hills-2014
The
Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Awards, commonly known as The African
NAFCA, are U.S. awards for achievements in the film industry and The NAFCA
Special Honors are awarded to recognize outstanding individuals whose
professional careers have been marked by extraordinary personal and
professional accomplishments. Winners are awarded the NAFCA Trophies,
officially the Award of Merit that is much better known by its nickname NAFCA.
The awards, first presented in 2011 at the RTP Sheraton Imperial Hotel in
Durham North Carolina, are overseen by the Nollywood Film Critics USA. The
NAFCA Special Honors were presented for the first time in 2011 to President
Nelson Mandela. Recipients of this award
in subsequent years include President Yahya Jammeh of The Gambia, President
Jonathan E. Goodluck and President Ellen J. Sirleaf. Presentations of the
African Oscars and The NAFCA Special Honors are made yearly during the second
weekend in September. The African Oscars
NAFCA is designed to globally promote African Cinema and culture. The
prestigious Nollywood & African Film Critics' Awards (African NAFCA) are
awards of merit and are considered the highest African film and honorary
awards.
The 4th
African NAFCA will be held on the 13th of September 2014 at the legendary Saban
Theatre of Beverly Hills.
STELLA DAMASUS
Stella
Damasus is a multi talented actress, singer, performer and producer. Having
approximately 50 films under her belt, she has worked with some of the greatest
entertainers in Africa. Stella is also a mother of two beautiful girls. Stella,
who has been acting for over a decade, has been said to be one of the best
actresses Africa has seen by many critics.
MICHAEL ADEGOKE
Michael
Oluwamuyiwa Adegoke is a talented actor, dancer, singer and model who is
certified by the United States National Dance Council of America with Five
United States Regional Ballroom Showdance Championships and a 5th place World
