President
Goodluck Jonathan paid a visit to the former president of Nigeria, Gen. Ibrahim
Badamosi Babangida, IBB at his residential home in Minna, Niger State capital.
This
development was disclosed by the presidential spokesperson on Media and
Publicity, Reuben Abati via his Twitter page.
During
the visit, the former president opined that President Jonathan meant well for
the country and was working very well.
He
also maintained that anybody who means well for Nigeria should support
President Jonathan especially in the oncoming 2015 general elections scheduled
to hold on February 14.
He
said, “The President means well for this country, and is working well for this
country.”
“And
anybody who means well for this country should support President Jonathan, to
make Nigeria survive as a united country, ” IBB added.
