The Audacity of Faith (11): Is your faith weak? ... with Pastor Kola

The Audacity of Faith (11)
Romans 4:19
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
Today, we will explore the first Faith level as found in scripture. This is Weak Faith. This kind of faith speaks to an inadequacy of faith supply that is commensurate with the issues at hand. This level can only deliver weak results.
There are people who profess to be men and women of faith but who are weak when their faith is put to test. Unfortunately, there are many like this in the body of Christ who have weak faith but live in denial.
Typical of such people are folks who profess to believe in divine healing. When their health suffers; instead of either standing up in faith to rebuke the devil and the ailment and get up to do what healthy people do, they are wrapped up under the blanket shivering.
When you ask them what the problem is, you hear statements like 'I am strong'. This is laughable! If you are strong, then get up and do what strong people do. Some will respond to you in barely audible voices that they don't believe in taking medication. It is as though it is evil and sinful to take medication.
It is stupidity to pretend about your weak faith! Why do you want to die an avoidable death?! It is not a sin to have weak faith, it is only indicative of the need to build up your faith. You can keep confessing till you turn blue in the face, if it is not founded on strong heart-seated faith in the area you are dealing with, it is a waste of time and a risk! Confessions are matters of the heart and not just of the lips!
Don't die before your time. Faith is in levels. Recognize your level and apply wisdom to take practical decisions. May the Lord give you understanding.
I celebrate you
