Utiosu) of Abagana, Njikoka LGA, both of Anambra State. He is married to Mrs

Barr

1997, regrets to 1 year loss to ASUU strikes under Abacha regime. Casmir Nwafor
is the initiator of today's Democratic Students Unionism in UNIZIK. For that he
had a running battle with the school authority leading to a protracted court
case reported in Nigeria today as NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY And Anor Vs CASMIR
NWAFOR. The school withdrew their further appeal to Supreme Court after
Casmir's Call to Bar in 1999. Ironicaly he remains the only student of the

Nwachinemelu did his pupilage as a young
lawyer in the Chambers of Late Barr BC Igwe and his lovely wife AB Igwe, both
of whom were murdered by suspected agents of Mbadinuju government in 2001.
Casmir later established his law office and served as a 2 term Vice Chairman
NBA Aguata Branch. He was the Head of CASMIR NWAFOR CHAMBERS. He was also the
Chairman of Human Rights Committee of the NBA Aguata Branch. Nwachinemelu
started his interest in politics at the age of 9 observing meetings and
attending political rallies of NPP and NPN in Awka. He became a member of SDP
in 1990 and worked hard for the election of OKWADIKE as Governor of Anambra
State. Alongside, Isingidi Akpu, Hon Ben Nwankwo, Casmir was close to OKWADIKE
despite his age and helped stabilise students union activities in the higher
institutions in Anambra State. He was appointed special Assistant to Barr
Clem's Ezika in 1999 as the Chairman
Dunukofia LG Council. He held office as the Chairman of PDP Orumba North LGA in

posting and redeployment of our people in their NYSC program.
Capt Casmir Chukwunonso Nwafor (Rtd
He retired from the Nigerian Army to seek the support of his constituents
to give them quality representation at the Federal House of Representatives. He
believes that NdIgbo has not been treated well which has worsened in the past 3
years under Buhari regime. Unfortunately, our voice in the NASS isn't
articulated and loud enough. He presents himself to the constituents and offers
to be their voice, eyes and hands in the green chamber. His associates include
Hon Barr Uche Onyeagucha, Dr Fredrick Faseun of OPC, Senator Shehu Sani, Hon
Abdul Oroh, Hon Ossai N Ossai, Osita Chidoka(Ike Obosi), VCs, Rectors and many Academicians to mention
but a few. He is a legal practitioner, retired military officer, special
